15 months already.

I love his pout. And his long eyelashes. And the red mark on the left side of his forehead that doesn't go away. I have one under my left eye just like it. I can't believe he's 15 months old already.

So the package said for 3 1/2 year olds but hey, parents always think their kids are advanced, right? I figured the fact that the markers could only mark on this particular type of paper made it a little better. Noah loved it.

His first piece of artwork, hung on the fridge. I know there will be many, many more to come. And that is when we ship them off to the grandparents house!

And for Noah's 15 month stats:
Weight: 22 lbs 14 oz
Height: 30 inches
25th percentile overall

Fearless & A Go-Getter

Those are the two words mothers described Noah as today during his Babies In Motion class. And I have to say, they're right. While it might take the other children a little bit to warm up it takes Noah no time at all to get big eyes from all of the bright-colored objects to climb on...and off he goes! Next time I'll have to get photos.

Every child must have a spaghetti photo. Noah had been a little hesitant with tomato sauce but one day he woke up and it worked! We actually got smart one day and took him to a salad buffet so Noah could try all different types of veggies and fruits to see what he liked. This saved us lots of money trying to do it at home!

snapshot. 01

I've been wanting to work on bettering my photography skills as well as adding textures, etc. to my photos. Perhaps you're right along with me and would like to participate on your own blog. If so, let me know as I'd love to stop by and get some inspiration.

I've decided to share one snapshot a week from my daily comings and goings. Although who knows, it might be more. I'm making the rules, right? I have no idea where this will lead. But I'm hoping it will lead to better photography and memories captured in amazing ways.

I figured I'd start off with this shot of my son. I sort of cheated. I mean, how can you go wrong with little piggies?

Up and down

This is how we spend our day. Up and down. Up and down.

All.

Day.

Long.

Progress

I cut for an hour last night, while I watched The Bachelor (I know, I know), to make my one pile down to well...another pile. I told my husband this was going to be a multi-night task spread out over multi-weeks as my hand and back had had enough. Now I just need to iron this one pile so I can cut it into 210 rectangles. Oh how that number seems so daunting.

And since I already admitted to watching it up above, I might as well talk about it. Right? No shame once you've come clean. So...no surprises that the girls were mad from The Women Tell All night. I so hope Stephanie finds a nice man...someone that appreciates romance like she does. And were they hinting at Jillian being the next Bachelorette?

My vote. I still like Molly. Perhaps part of it is I love the name Molly. But I do think she seems more mature. I have a feeling he's going with Melissa. What do you think?

The stack

This Amy Butler stack has been staring shamelessly at me for a week now...waiting to be cut to make this quilt. I am planning to dig into it tonight while my husband steals the computer from me to do some work. It will also give me a great excuse to use my "new to me" serger.

And I managed to get out this weekend and purchase the last issue of Domino that they'll be printing. What!?! You didn't know either??? Oh, I'm so disappointed. Bye bye Domino. RIP. I'm thinking maybe I should get it laminated...

Pantone came out with their Pantone Color Fashion Trend for Spring of 2009. I pulled a few samples while browsing online. Hmm...might need to update my wardrobe! Here in AZ we're allowed to start thinking about Spring. Afterall, summer will be here before I know it and I'll be wishing for winter again! The grass it always greener...
